The conceptual system is intended as an analogy to the symbiosis between two species, in this case the combination of an obsolete library and a museum of biodiversity. The addition offers the primary functions of the museum such as laboratories, research center whereas the pre-existing spaces of the old St Denis library juggles with the curatorial program. The evolution of species is stated by the phenomenon of multiple networks, creating cooperation between them.
